As part of their activities that celebrated Environment Day, we had the chance to give a construction activity to some of the employees at the BricoDepot Spain offices.
Our client asked us to think of an object, easy to assemble, for the common areas. And we have designed multifunctional furniture, which depending on the position, can serve as a stool, table or shelf. The materials used were wood from discarded pallets and some plywood boards salvaged from the street.
In the 2-hour activity, the participants learned what creative recycling and circular economy are, they were able to use basic tools to build the furniture, and in the end, they finished their creations with food paints (so as not to contaminate the wood).
